Kania Johnson

Kania Johnson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and holds a Master of Public Policy from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She began as an intern with CIC in 2019, spent time as a member of the Advisory Board, and now returns as the CIC’s Director of Outreach and Engagement. As Director of Outreach and Engagement, she will oversee the recruitment and retention of new and existing CIC youth and families and lead in the development and facilitation of evidence and practice-based programming to support CIC youth and families. She is passionate about supporting and advocating for innovative programming and policy solutions that are inclusive of the unique experiences of children and families. Her passion for supporting youth and families, particularly underrepresented youth and families, has led her back to school to pursue a Master’s in Social Work, enhancing her capacity to support and serve our community.
