CIC Connects brings year-round entertainment and enrichment to the families in our network with our ticket donation program.
Tickets for Kids
Founded in 1994, Tickets for Kids is a national organization that provides free access for low-income and at-risk kids to attend the arts, cultural, educational, and athletic venues of their community. Since 2023, CIC has partnered with Tickets for Kids to offer youth impacted by parental incarceration opportunities to attend fun and enriching events with their families.
Twin Cities in Motion
Twin Cities in Motion organizes several great running events each year, including the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend. While kids always run free at their events, Twin Cities in Motion partners with CIC to ensure that caregivers can run alongside their youth at family events.
American Swedish Institute
The American Swedish Institute is a vibrant arts and cultural organization in South Minneapolis. With a campus including the historic Turnblad Mansion and the Nelson Cultural Center, ASI uses its resources to be a valuable community asset and integral partner. In 2023, CIC hosted our “Kids to Camp” fundraiser at ASI’s Larson Hall. Yearround, members of CIC’s family network can visit ASI or participate in select Youth & Family Programs free of charge.
These ticket opportunities are open to families in the CIC network who have sent a youth to camp, participated in family camp, or attended at least three Caregiver Council meetings within the last year. Please email outreach@cicmn.org with questions.
