Mikayla Berg

Mikayla Berg (she/her) is a second-year Master of Public Policy student at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities’ Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs, with a concentration in Youth and Family Policy. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Social Work Program and holds a license in social work. She utilizes her professional experiences in youth development, mental health, and community investment to advocate for policies that advance youth and family well-being within marginalized communities. She is a team member of a capstone research project on pregnancy in prison, in which she focuses on the postpartum portion of the perinatal period and infant placement after birth.
