Manda Sertich

Manda Sertich is an attorney at Fredrikson & Byron, Minnesota’s largest law firm. Manda was a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office – District of Minnesota for more than a decade, where she served as the Office’s Human Trafficking Coordinator and Project Safe Childhood Coordinator, protecting the rights of women and children who were survivors of sexual exploitation. In her early legal career, while working in private practice in New York and Washington, DC, Manda represented women and children on a pro bono basis in relation to domestic violence cases and gender-based asylum claims, and was granted the Pro Bono Achievement Award from Sanctuary for Families Center for Battered Women’s Legal Services. She also volunteered for human rights organizations in the Philippines, Tanzania, and Ghana, earning the President’s Volunteer Service Award, which was conferred by President Barack Obama for her work in Tanzania with Lawyers Without Borders.
