Heaven Davis

Heaven Davis (she/her) is a second-year law student at the University of Minnesota Law School. She has previously worked on complex insurance coverage litigation and client outreach at Clyde & Co US LLP and Keller Lenkner LLC. At CIC, Heaven supports research and advocacy centered on children and families impacted by the carceral system. Specifically, she is researching Alternatives to Incarceration (ATIs) and their impacts on parents, children, and family systems, focusing on how these programs are evaluated domestically and internationally. Originally from Chicago, she is passionate about community-centered legal reform, with a focus on youth justice and public interest work.
