Carley Mossbrook Addy is a second-year Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Minnesota, concentrating in community-engaged policy and nonprofit advocacy. She’s a teaching assistant at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and co-managing editor of the Humphrey Public Affairs Review, the school’s student-led policy journal. She has a background in journalism and nonprofit communications. Carley supports efforts to provide resources to and free women who are incarcerated, decarcerate jails and prisons, and prevent sexual and domestic violence. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, exploring the outdoors, and cooking new cuisines.
