Amy Hill Cosimini

Amy Hill Cosimini, J.D., Ph.D., is an international human rights scholar, educator, and attorney at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. She serves as a Lecturer in the Human Rights Program at the University of Minnesota and was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at St. Olaf College from 2019-2024. Her research focuses on mass media and human rights, memory, and transitional justice in Latin America. She has co-authored several regional submissions to the UN on human rights abuses. Amy first worked with CIC as a graduate intern in 2016 where she developed reports on international caregiver-child visitation programs and local jail visitation policies. Since then, she has continued to work with local courts, serving as a legal resident for the Minnesota Supreme Court and a law clerk for the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She has
also volunteered for several human rights organizations in the United States and Argentina, earning her the Sullivan Ballou Award for Excellence in Human Rights.
