CIC has partnered with the YMCA to obtain scholarships for youth ages 8-14 with a parent in prison to attend a weeklong summer camp. Out at Camp Icaghowan, the students will have the opportunity to grow under the sun.
Summer camp is magic. It has the power to transform even the shyest camper into a confident leader. It turns strangers into instant friends. It changes barriers into successes.
Situated on 120 beautiful acres near Amery, Wisconsin, Icaghowan offers a unique setting that includes 44 acres of island on Lake Wapogasset. This special YMCA camp also offer three treehouses, known for their beauty and the opportunities they provide to explore the forest canopy.
