She moved to Minneapolis from Philadelphia, where she attended Haverford College, worked as a legal assistant, and then organized conferences and trainings at the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives. Theodora’s focus on human rights and incarceration in the United States grows out of her work advancing economic freedom through worker co-ops and plaintiffs’ side advocacy. In her first year at UMN, Theodora contributed to research on rights violations by ICE in Minneapolis through the Human Rights Center. She is excited to deepen her understanding of human rights law and research with CIC.
