Stuti Shah

Stuti Shah is a doctoral candidate at Columbia Law School and a Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellow for 2024-25. She is interested in engaging in a critical re-thinking of law and penal institutions that harm people and communities. Her research is focused on re-imagining crime and punishment from a feminist and subaltern lens in India. At CIC, she is providing research assistance for the Prison Nursery Project.
