Anya Lindberg

Anya Lindberg began working with CIC as an undergraduate at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where she earned a BA in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Justice. Fluent in Spanish, she has applied her language skills across several internships, volunteer roles, and research projects, including her work on CIC’s Prison Nursery Project.

Anya currently leads CIC’s international advocacy efforts, including reporting before international human rights monitoring bodies on violations affecting women and children during the perinatal period in prison. She plans to attend law school and hopes to continue working in international human rights throughout her career.
