Anna Pastore
Anna Pastore is a second-year student at the University of Virginia School of Law. She graduated from Oberlin College with her B.A. in Hispanic Studies and Sociology in 2025. During her time at UVA Law, Anna has worked as a judicial intern for the Virginia Supreme Court and is president of the Immigration Law Society at UVA. She has also volunteered with Catholic Migration Services, UVA Law’s Innocence Project, and immigration firms in Charlottesville. After living in Arizona and Mexico during college and working on the border, Anna is dedicated to fighting for immigrant rights, both for detained adults and children, and hopes to practice as an immigration defense attorney after law school. She is excited to bring her passion for immigration law to CIC’s work, exploring the challenges presented by immigration detention centers and how to preserve the rights and dignity of detained migrants.
